Flu clinic keeps the bugs at bay
In-house immunization for staff and family ensures protection

RED DEER – 15 December 2006: Better than chicken soup, a flu shot works to prevent staff from contracting the influenza virus. The in-house immunization clinic provided protection for Lee Specialties Ltd team members and their families in one fell swoop of the needle.
“Good participation levels for the clinic were surprising for this first time initiative,” says former Communications Director, April Serink, “However, the great response to information on immunization and influenza awareness proves the clinic was worthwhile and will certainly be continued.”
More than 30 per cent of the staff participated in the flu clinic thereby reducing the spread of the virus during the flu season.
