Lee Specialties Ltd receives CSA seal on wireline truck – a gift of safety this holiday

Standard reinforces company’s push toward safe and quality manufacturing for local and international markets

RED DEER – 22 December 2006: Lee Specialties Ltd earned the Canadian Standards Association seal of approval for the latest wireline truck’s high voltage electrical system (120/240 volts), credited to a custom design exclusive to the company.

The CSA seal indicates the wireline unit complies with applicable standards for safety and performance and exceeded independent, third-party testing. “We sought the highest standard for testing [CSA] for our high voltage systems because of our commitment to safety,” says Quality Assurance Manager, Justin Stewart, “wireline trucks are not often recognized as a bearer of the CSA seal.”

The CSA seal not only meets the company’s safety commitment, but also appeals to international customers who recognize the CSA requirements equal to international standards thereby ensuring product quality and performance.

“We design and build products for international markets too,” says Lee Specialties' CEO, “The CSA seal asserts our push toward enhancing our Canadian product appeal to a diversified customer base and reflects our safety standards.”

In 2006, Lee Specialties Ltd. began manufacturing wireline trucks in Red Deer and serves as a one-stop shop for wireline and cased hole logging equipment.
